Dying
05:13
|
|||
they don't know what to say to you
they don't have a clue
they don't see what you're up to
they don't see that they will soon be
dying for you
dying for you
would it kill you to let them go
would you make it alone
would it hurt you to not be so cruel
would you be able to ask them to stop
dying for you
dying for you
they'll always love you
not the way you do
you won't die for you
they don't know what to say to you
they don't have a clue
they don't see what you're up to
they don't see that they will soon be
dying for you
dying for you

Where Have You Gone?
04:07
|
|||
where have you gone? Last I had heard you passed on
after the bombs we had forgotten the kinds of thoughts that no one should dwell on
total recall of everything great and small
piled up tall, over the wall, rammed down and fired like a cannon ball
tell me about the things you have seen on the other side
the lessons you've learned, the wisdom discerned and the dreams denied since the last time I thought you died
it's way too easy to fake your way behind those eyes
it sounds so crazy but you are not you anymore
the look you have on, I swear it was gone and forgotten
your eyes are all wrong, you're pallid and drawn and you don't use the words you were fond of
where have you gone? I feel like you're just a phantom
where have you gone? you weren't here for long and now I'm being asked to pay ransom
